As a Logistics junior Category Procurement Manager you ensure our Company’s Business Continuity and support our Business Growth in terms of (in)direct costs and risks while:
- Developing and implementing Procurement Strategies for our logistics portfolio (spend typically 50-200 mio), while bearing an overarching LWM-view in mind;
- Acquiring, from a strategic/tactical view, all assigned goods & services at the best terms and conditions possible according to the (functional) specifications and quality standards set with our internal stakeholders, following accurately the Procurement Process set;
- Acting as a liaison between our suppliers and our organization, building and maintaining strong relations with our (key) business partners;
- cquiring and sharing information related to market data and – dynamics.
What do you bring?
- As a Logistics Junior Category Procurement Manager you have a positive critical mindset, excellent communication skills - both written and spoken - and commercial business savvy. Drive, persistence, charisma and ‘out-of- the-box’ thinking are essential. You have strong analytical - and excellent people management skills and are able to communicate professionally with all levels of the organization (incl. higher management).
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree in (applied) Economics, Supply Chain, Procurement, Technics or Engineering
- At least 3-5years relevant experience within Supply Chain, Logistics or/and procurement, preferably within a multinational FMCG – (manufacturing) company with exposure to (Logistic) procurement
- Personal drive and willingness to grow within the organization
- Fluent in English and Dutch
As a Logistics Junior Category Procurement Manager, you will be based in Breda with occasional travel to Kruiningen and report to the the Category Procurement Manager Logistics
