This position will be responsible for all strategic sourcing and supplier management, from the sourcing process through negotiations and contracting, issuing Po’s, and follow-up on supply. · Overall responsibility for issuing purchase orders and operating subcontractors from the demand and sourcing stage to delivery · Stablishing purchase orders and tracking until delivery · Gathering needs and evaluating suppliers in preparation for negotiations, requests for quotes, and responsibility from the end of the negotiation stage until the completion of the contract with the supplier · Responsibility for ongoing procurement operations with all relevant parties: suppliers, internal customers, and interfaces · Handling and promoting proactive departmental tasks or intra-organizational requirements · Handling defective products (MRB) · Understanding the internal customer's need, defining a budget framework, suggesting alternatives, and assisting in choosing the optimal solution · Identify opportunities for proactive effective and streamlining processes · Analysis of market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternatives · Managing relationships with suppliers (local and foreign) · Leading cost reduction projects · Negotiating commercial contracts and engagements · Practical Engineer / Industrial and Management Engineer / Relevant bachelor’s degree · Minimum 3-5 years of commercial procurement experience in a similar position · Assertiveness and commercial negotiation abilities · Excellent interpersonal skills and motivation · High mastery of Excel · Experience with SAP – Advantage · Experience with mechanics, electronics, and machining – an advantage · Strong written and verbal communication skills in English · Ability to work with multiple interfaces · Service awareness and high learning ability
