Application Consultant Associate [Finland]

 

Introduction
IBM Application Consultants work directly with our clients on key initiatives. You will have the opportunity to build an in-depth understanding of their business issues and implement organizational strategies that drive adoption of change. We are looking for experts who can build credibility and trust with our clients and provide knowledge that addresses individual and unique business needs.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Your role as Application Consultant will be to support clients on their various projects as required.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
We expect you to:

• Be a Master’s Degree Student in some relevant field of studies in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, IT Management s or similar with strong track record of academic success
• Thrive on collaboration, working side by side with people of all backgrounds, cultures and disciplines (customers and colleagues)
• Be able to translate business requirements into technical solutions

You are also:

• Continuously interested to learn and develop yourself with a good technical and business aptitude
• Great in verbal and written communication (English and Finnish)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Other preferred expertise:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, while maintaining focus in an environment with conflicting demands
• Ability to communicate complex situations clearly and simply by listening actively and conveying difficult messages in a positive manner
• A passion for innovative ideas, coupled with the ability to understand and assimilate different points of view
• Initiative to actively seek new knowledge and improve skills
