Your Role
As a Road Logistics Operator at Kuehne+Nagel, you'll be at the forefront of delivering seamless transportation solutions. From planning and coordinating trailer transport to fostering strong customer relationships, your expertise will drive operational excellence.Your Responsibilities
- Offer timely and efficient solutions to customers, ensuring accurate and quality completion of all operational aspects.
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relationships, representing Kuehne+Nagel in a positive manner.
- Ensure department operates to "Best in Class" quality standards and actively seek continuous improvement.
- Adhere to Kuehne+Nagel's road logistics procedures and comply with health, safety, and GDP Pharma guidelines.
- Manage day-to-day operations, including customer interaction, customs clearance, invoicing, and administration duties.
- Plan and coordinate trailer transport and distribution within Ireland and Europe.
- Follow Good Distribution Practice for Pharma products and maintain adherence to relevant SOPs.
- Communicate and collaborate with carriers, hauliers, subcontractors, and overseas partners to optimize operational performance.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Freight forwarding industry knowledge or experience.
- LTL/ Groupage knowledge.
- Experience in a similar position in the past and distribution expertise.
- Experienced in updating the tariffs.
- Used to work Maintaining and/or implementing good working practices & procedures to ensure that the department run efficiently and with professionalism.
- Delivering excellence in quality and customer service every time.
- Pro-actively look for continuous improvement with the department to ultimately provide the customer with an efficient and professional service.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to escalate internally in a correct manner. Strong written communication skills are crucial.
