We are looking for a System Tester, to work on digital products and solutions in the field of telecommunications. The aim of this product is to deal with location determination, which measures the location of the user device using several algorithms, e.g. in case of emergency calls.

What could be your tasks as part of one of our teams?

• Developing and maintaining functional and non-functional tests
• Monitoring, debugging of automated tests, participation in process improvement and internal tool development
• Test environment development and system test automation
• Creating a test environment with a Test Engineer approach.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or relevant experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar field
• 2-3 years of experience in softwer testing
• Proven experience on multiple levels of the test hierarchy
• Solid Linux (command line) knowledge
• Basic knowledge of Git, Github or similar revision control systems
• Experience with ticketing systems (Jira - Xray) from test case definition to reporting
• Good written and oral skills in English
• Some experience with programming and scripting (e.g. C/C++, Java, Python, bash)
• ISTQB foundation level certificate or equivalent experience

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS AND EXPERIENCE

• Experience working with CI tools, such as Jenkins
• DevOps experience and/or experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of internet protocols (IPv4, IPv6)
• Database knowledge like Redis or PostgreSQL
