You day-to-day tasks as a SRE:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner
- Develop and maintain tools and automation frameworks to improve system reliability
- Implement and manage containerization and orchestration tools
- Work with cloud platforms (such as GCP or AWS) to maintain and improve infrastructure
- Participate in paid on-call rotations to ensure system availability
We have a match if you have
- Knowledge of GCP or any other cloud platform
- Experience with Python and Django
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (eg. Datadog)
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration systems
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools (such as Terraform)
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools (such as Jenkins)
- Experience with database administration and performance optimization
- Understanding what is like to work in start up ;)
